Our Community Café is located in the main St Philip’s Church building and serves teas, great coffees, irresistible cakes, toasted teacakes & crumpets!

On Tuesdays, you can have Afternoon Tea! For £5 you can have two sandwiches (choice of fillings); a scone with jam and clotted cream; a cake and a cup of tea or coffee. On Friday mornings we serve delicious bacon rolls (veggie and gluten-free alternatives are available).

During our Saturday session, we host a vibrant Book Club, Advice Sessions and visits from Special Interest Groups in the local area - check our Events page for more details.

Run by volunteers, we aim to provide a safe, warm and welcoming space for the local and wider community. It's a great place for you to meet with friends and family. Babies and children are very welcome and we have toys, books and a nappy changing area.

The café is for the community, by the community, in the church. So, if you have any ideas or suggestions for how the café can be used for the benefit of our village, please let us know.

If you would like to know more, or you are interested in being a volunteer. Please click here to contact Anne Stanley, our Community Café Co-ordinator.
