St Philip's Church Building is open for

Public Worship

Updated  03/06/2021

The Church Building has reopened for in-person public worship on Sundays and for our twice-monthly Friday Communion. Because of Church of England and government guidance, only 35 individuals/couples are able to join in the service.  If you are attending, you will be required to wear a face-covering at all times. Once in the building, there should be no mixing of households but 2 households can mix outside. Please leave the building as soon as the service is finished. Please be aware that during services, the worship group may be singing but no singing is permitted by the congregation.

Please do not come to a service if you believe you may have been infected with COVID-19; or you have symptoms that may indicate you have COVID-19; you have had a positive result from a home rapid lateral flow test and/or you are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 PCR test.

Funeral services, weddings and christenings can be held subject to current restrictions on numbers.

We will continue to offer a range of online and telephone support (see below). We know that some people are not confident with IT and new software. If you would welcome some support with accessing these online resources, please contact the Benefice PA on elmettrinitypa@gmail.com and we’ll try to put together some information sheets.

If you are in need of practical assistance with shopping, etc, or you know someone who is, please contact "Your Scholes" (0113 289 2437 / 07512 314312), to request help.

Finally, please contact Rev. Andy or Alan Stanley if you feel in need of spiritual or emotional support and we will do what we can to help.
